Crucial evidence to help you decide
The history of this saga began when the lead pastor of the largest church in Hillcrest, KZN, announced that he thought that CTMI were a cultish church and shared his views with other local pastors.
In response to cult accusations, a pastor linked to CTMI, when interviewed by the press, said “its incorrect to call them a cult. These kids have simply become radical Christians”
Parents, who were confused by the change in behavior in their family members, only began to understand what was going on when they consulted the universally accepted “checklists” for unhealthy/cultish churches.
There are many of these lists with most being remarkably similar. Here is evidence under some of the headings of one such list from widely recognised cult expert, Rick Ross, Director of the Cult Education Institute.
